BREAKING NEWS: WIZKID HIRES NEW MANAGER?
You will recall that we posted a
story two weeks ago announcing that Wizkid and long time manager; Osagie
Osarenkhoe had parted ways. We were informed by a reliable source that EME had
given Wizkid a free hand to contact whomever he liked for the now vacant
managerial position. Well news reaching us says that Wizkid has made his
choice.
The person in question is no
stranger to the music industry as he previously managed M.I and most recently
Showdemcamp. This handsome light skinned young man was spotted backstage at The
Headies 2012 with EME’s biggest earner Wizkid and the following day escorting
him out of the lobby of the Eko Hotel & Suites.
From all indications, Wizkid and
his new manager appear to have developed a very strong rapport.
The Headies 2012 artiste of the
year seemed comfortable and at ease around his new manager. When contacted the
individual in question was unwilling to give a statement. HHW then went ahead
to officially contact Empire Mates Entertainment, the label that is home to
Wizkid, Banky, Skales, Shaydee and Niyola. As at the time of publishing this
story we were not furnished with a quote.
